Day at the Zoo

Today I went to the zoo for the first time. It was a lot of fun. Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Josh took the pictures, but I really enjoyed watching the animals.

Excited about having Uncle Josh in the backseat of the car with me. He's my entertainment.

Come on Daddy, we gotta hurry the animals are waiting for me!

Oh, fountains, I've only been here a minute, but this place rocks!

First stop the white tigers, they look like they're having fun. I want to play too.
Walking around the zoo. I don't know why they keep calling me "monkey"?!
Mandril Monkeys

Okay, so they were trying to show me the monkey and I kicked my foot, then the next thing I know my shoe is floating in the monkey pond.

We got to get really close to the giraffe, it almost licked Mama's camera! I didn't get to feed them this time, because I didn't have my shoe and was stuck in the stroller. Maybe next time.

Elephants are big and smell funny.
Camels. I could have ridden one with Mama but once again I lost the shoe and wasn't allowed out of the stroller.

Rhinos, weird animals that are smaller than elephants but still smell funny.

Turtle, turtle.

Nurse sharks. They don't look like they're in a hospital. I don't know why they are called nurses.

The fish and manatee sections were nice because their was air conditioning. It was starting to get hot outside. That and I was getting tired. I think Daddy was too.

The last stop of the zoo was the bald eagle. We did have a great day, but I sure was tired. I didn't even make it out of the zoo awake.

Morning surprise

So I woke up this morning and Mama said something about a surprise. Then when I came out to my play area, this is what I found. I think I like surprises!

Big shoes to fill

I love shoes! I wanted to wear Daddy's shoes out the other day, but Mama said I still had a lot of growing to do before I could fill Daddy's shoes. I must need to drink more milk if I'm going to fit these shoes.

Saturday Morning Breakfast

Every Saturday morning Mama takes me out to breakfast somewhere. She says its our little tradition since she can't have breakfast with me every morning. This past weekend we went to Chick-fil-a and I was the only little one in the play area. I was brave enough not only to go up in the tunnels but to go down the slide all by myself.

Mother's Day Weekend

I'm tired, and I have a lot of sugar in my hair!

Daddy said that since Mother's Day is always busy we were to treat mommy to a special day the day before. So we took Mama to lunch at her favorite restaurant and to this store called IKEA in which Mama spent hours looking at everything in sight. I don't know much about the rest of the day. I was given a candy bracelet and sometime after I put it in my hair I fell asleep. Oh well, Mama had a great day and when Mama's happy, everyone is happy. Besides I sleep when we go shopping anyway.

Sleep Over

The other morning I woke up and Skyler was here. Mommy said it was a "sleep over" or something like that. Either way it was nice to share my morning drink and show with. Mommy also said something about girls not being allowed to sleep over unless she gave permission. I don't know what she means by that, but she said I would in 15 years. I guess I'll have to wait to figure it out.

This was just too much fun.

Mommy says this is the only time I'm allowed to hit someone.
