By the time you were two months old things started to fall into place. At 6 weeks you were sleeping through the night (8 hours) and we moved you into your big boy bed. You did so good sleeping. Daddy put you down to bed at 8 and you woke up to eat at 4 then woke for the day at 7. We went from a 2 hour feeding schedule to a three hour feeding schedule, which helped me out quite a bit. You had a slight touch of colic for a couple weeks, and you had some reflux issues so the docto gave some zantac for your tummy which helped. I also learned I couldn't eat anything with dairy in it or your belly would hurt and you would spit up all over everything. This was a super big bummer for me.
Things settled into a routine; we went out and did errands together, you ate, ate, ate and ate some more. You weighed in at 13 lbs. 2 ounces and 24 inches. By the second month I started to feel more secure in my ability to be your mom and your daddy was getting the hang of the diaper changing process. He was great big help, no matter how much I hassle him about helping. Your dad would get up in the middle of the night to help feed and change you and he rarely ever complained. I loved watching him with you. As you got bigger and stronger he felt more able to handle you. I loved watching the pride in his eyes when he held you.
You had your first dose of shots and hated it. Oh you were sore and fussy that afternoon and I was finally able to calm you by sticking the two of us in a warm bath and holding you close to calm you. We celebrated your first Thanksgiving up in Orlando at Aunt Gabi's house. Uncle Richard made all the food and Aunt Julie came down as well. You were the star of the party in your little turkey outfit. We had so much to be thankful for. You were also happy to help Daddy celebrate his birthday, and oh what fun it was to see him holding you and open his presents. You of course being the greatest gift of the year!
